As a small business owner we know your time is valuable and opportunities for training to improve your own skills or those of your employees are often hard to find and sometimes outside of your budget. Earlier this summer we reached out to the Initiative Foundation to see how they could help us bring some local training options to the Pine City or Pine County area. We connected with the Pine County Economic Development staff as well and secured space in the Pine Government Center. We are thrilled to host two workshops in Pine City this fall to help our business community.
The first training workshop Bookkeeping for Non-Accountants is designed for entrepreneurs who want to demystify bookkeeping without an accounting background. It will cover financial literacy basics, as well as basic accounting principles and online tools. Participants will learn essential skills such as tracking expenses, invoicing clients and reconciling accounts.
All are invited to attend this FREE workshop on Wednesday, October 16th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
Advanced registration is requested for this workshop through the Central Lakes College registration site. You can sign up here: https://mnscu.rschooltoday.com/public/costoption/class_id/290355
