The Remote Pilot course will prepare students to earn the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate for commercial drone operations. This course is
designed to cover all the requirements and phases for drone flight operations, where safety and real world applicability are at the core. The main objective is to prepare students to pass the FAA Part 107 Knowledge Test, obtain a certificate with the FAA that can complement a degree, continuing or professional education, and provide opportunities in the workforce.
Students will develop leadership skills, aeronautical knowledge and the ability to execute aeronautical decision making into flying missions. Adding a skill set to their careers and expanding employability opportunities in many industries with the emerging application of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
