Registrations are now open for the Pine Theater Camp for youth currently in grades 5 – 8. This is the second year that the Heritage Players have collaborated with Pine County 4-H and Pine City Community Education to create an opportunity specifically for younger performers.
The 10 day camp will be held in the month of June and provides an opportunity for students to learn about a wide variety of theater areas – from auditioning, to memorizing lines, building sets, creating props and designing costumes – this will be a hands on experience for both first time students and those with past stage experience.
Registration forms can be found online at z.umn.edu/pinetheatercamp and submitted in person or by mail to the Chamber Office at 247 5th Street SE along with the $50 registration fee. Camp is limited to the first 30 registrations and a wait list will be created for any further interest. Deadline to register is May 23rd or until full.
