In partnership with Pine County 4-H and Pine City Community Education, the Heritage Players will be hosting the first Youth Theater Camp. This 8 day camp event will provide youth in grades 5-8 with an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of theater areas – from auditioning, to memorizing lines, building sets, creating props and designing costumes – this will be a hands on experience for both first time students and those with past stage experience.
Students will audition for a role in the one-act show that will be performed as part of the camp experience. Camp dates are June 17-18, June 20-21, and June 24-27. Daily attendance is required and work on line memorization outside of camp will be needed to prepare for a public performance of the show on Thursday, June 27 at 7:00 p.m.
Registration fee is $50 per student and participation will be limited to the first 30 registrations. Get your registration form online at: z.umn.edu/pinetheatercamp and drop off a completed form and fee to the Chamber Office (315 Main St S) or send by mail.
