The Pine City High School Theater program will present a Spring Play this year titled, “The Dining Room”. The show includes a cast of 15 students from grades 7 – 12.
“The Dining Room” is a comedy of manners, set in a single dining room where 17 scenes from different households and time periods overlap and intertwine. The play is set in the dining room of a typical well-to-do household, the place where the family assembled daily for breakfast and dinner and for any and all special occasions. The action is a mosaic of interrelated scenes—some funny, some touching, some rueful—which, taken together, create an in-depth portrait of a vanishing species: the upper-middle-class WASP.
The public is invited to attend one of three performance options:
- Friday, June 1st at 7:00 PM
- Saturday, June 2nd at 7:00 PM
- Sunday, June 3rd at 2:00 PM
Tickets are available at the door. Adults are $8, students and seniors are $5, with all high school students receiving FREE admission with a PCHS activity pass. Elementary students can attend the show for free with a paid adult ticket.
