The Pine Center for the Arts is seeking submissions now for the September 2018 Textile Gallery project. Read below for the details:
Artists are allowed to submit 1-4 works of art for the Pine Center for the Art’s Textile Gallery Project. Art will be on display through September and an opening reception will be held 4-7 pm on Friday, September 14. All art must be dropped off at the Pine Center for the Arts on Wednesday, September 12 during business hours of 3-6 pm or by arrangement. The deadline to submit the application is September 1.
Art work must be a textile. Art work must have been completed with the last four years.
Entry fees are per artist, valid for up to 4 total submissions. Entry fee for members of Pine Center for the Arts is just $10. Non-members must pay a $20 registration fee, which will include a membership to the Center through April of 2019.
Best of Show and People’s Choice award winners will be selected.
Artists are encouraged to use the Textile Gallery as a sales opportunity for their artwork as well as exhibiting. A sale commission will be retained by the Art Center for any sales made during the course of the gallery display.
