With bridge access unavailable on Co Rd 9, the local farmers will be using alternate routes to move heavy equipment this spring. To reach any area north of the Snake River, those farmers will need to bring their equipment through Pine City to get across the Snake River. In some instances, their machinery will be wider than a normal vehicle. In the spirt of cooperation, the City of Pine City and Pine County are requesting that there is no parking on the streets from 2am – 6am to provide them with safe access to the roads.
Below is a map of the routes that they are most likely to be traveling on. These streets include: 8th Ave SE, 2nd St SE, and Main Street north of 8th Ave.
