What a great Holiday Madness adventure we had in Pine City this past week! Thank you to all of the businesses and organizations that participated in this event in some way. The weather made for a lovely evening in Robinson Park on Saturday. We had community members participating in the Scavenger Hunt coordinated by Pine City Parks & Recreation; vendor sales at the Pizza Pub, Lighthouse Church, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Catholic Church and First Presbyterian Church, plus the Jingle Bell Jog 5K Run Run hosted by Moms on the Run & Welia Health.
Thank you to Mom’s Parkside Cafe, The Garage Bar & Grill, and Pizza Pub – with guest a chef from the City of Pine City — we had 3 amazing options for the soup & chili tasting. This year we enlisted a panel of judges to do a blind tasting to select our winner…. and the trophy returns to Mom’s Parkside Cafe for the Best Soup Award for the 4th year in a row!
We also awarded Chamber Bucks prizes to 10 lucky winners for the Shop Pine City promotions! The community members had one week to shop locally at participating member businesses and then enter their purchase details with the codeword in as an entry to win on of our 10 Chamber Bucks prizes. We are thankful for all of our participants and the business locations that helped to promote this opportunity to their customers.
