The Hinckley Convention & Visitors Bureau will present PYRO BOREALIS II fireworks display at dusk (approx.10:00 p.m.) on Saturday, July 7, as the Grand Finale to Hinckley’s annual Corn & Clover Carnival weekend (July 6-7). (Pyro Borealis is from latin, meaning fire from the north)
The fireworks display will be launched from West Side Park, with the park closing at noon on Saturday, July 7, to allow for setup. All park visitors and parked vehicles must be removed from the park for safety precautions. Any remaining vehicles will be removed at owner’s expense.
The 300+ shot display will be performed by Bear Creek Pyrotechnics, under the supervision of Steve Haines.
NEW FOR 2018! In partnership with the Sweet Sounds of Summer Concert Series, Pyro Borealis II is pleased to announce a FREE pre-fireworks street dance and concert, featuring Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame inductee, The Scottie Miller Band. Admission is free to the public. Concert will be held on Main St. in Hinckley. Approximate start time is 7:30 p.m.
