The City of Pine City is seeking nominations for the annual awards that recognize citizens and business owners who have made a distinguished contribution to planning, or an effort to enhance the overall appearance of their property.
The Planning Commission receives and reviews the nominations made by the community and will make a recommendation to City Council for approval.
Nominations for the “Citizen Planner” award must represent projects, issues or people in Pine City. The work must represent an ongoing program/project, or have been completed within the last 2-4 years for consideration. Current members of the Planning Commission, EDA, HRA and City Council are not eligible.
Nominations for the “Business Site Improvement” awards must be visible from a public street, have a certificate of occupancy and be in compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. Submissions must have the consent of the owner. Public Projects are not eligible.
