Pine City Evangelical Free Church invites the community to attend a special Blue Christmas Service on Thursday, December 14th at 6:30 PM on the South Campus Sanctuary.
The reason for this special service follows – while for many, the holidays are “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” but for those who’ve lost someone they love or experienced other forms of grief, the holidays can seem more like something to survive than to enjoy. I know this is the case for several families in our church (and community). While we cannot fix the pain of loss grieving people feel, we desire to bring comfort and to come alongside those who hurt during the holidays.
If you or someone you love finds the holidays to be tough, this service is for you. It will involve Scripture, prayer, songs of comfort and a time to confess our grief before the Lord. I pray it will be a blessing and comfort!
