Join other community leaders and organizations to share your current plans and get an update on the North Woods and Waters of the St. Croix Heritage Area. “Imagine the Possibilities,” a regional gathering to promote and celebrate the St. Croix Watershed will be held in four communities this
spring in Hudson, St. Croix, Gordon (Wisconsin) and Sandstone, MN. (See below for details.)
A few years ago, 1600 people in the St. Croix watershed came together in a series of 20 community workshops to imagine the possibilities for a National Heritage Area in the St. Croix watershed. To further these efforts, a non-profit, North Woods and Waters of the St. Croix Heritage Area (NWW) was formed to carry out these ideas (regardless of possible designation). Plan to attend one of these sessions where you can:
* Share what you are doing to promote our natural, artistic, cultural, historical and recreational resources. Please bring brochures, posters, or other information to share!
* Connect with others in your region and find out what they have planned for this year and how you can support each other.
* Give input on the direction North Woods and Waters should take to best serve the region.
* Receive an update on North Woods and Waters and find out how you and your organization can benefit from NWW’s programs and services.
