Pine County Parade Prep Underway

The Pine City Chamber volunteer team is working on the final details for the 2022 Pine County Parade that will take place on Saturday, August 6th in Downtown Pine City, kicking off at 4PM. This year’s parade will include units that are sponsored by: City of Pine City, Rock Creek Lions, Pine City Lions, Pine County Fair Board, Welia Health, Ledin & Hofstad, Stearns Bank, VFW Post and the Knights of Columbus.

As of today, there are 86 units registered for the parade… which means there is still space for the procrastinators in the room that haven’t quite yet registered their group. Parade units will begin receiving their line-up assignments via email this week from the Chamber Office, so be sure to watch your email for that confirmation & request for information from your business.

A few changes are happening this year that require adjustments to our normal areas for line-up of units. The new front entrance at Pine Technical & Community College is nearly complete, which means the new entrance to PTCC is just a few feet further north – this will be the entrance our units will need to use to check-in upon arrival. The NW parking lot of the college will now be used as part of our line-up area.

For those that simply need to park their vehicle and walk to their float, we invite you to park in the EAST parking lot of the college. This lot is only accessible from the entrance on 8th Avenue SE. View the map below for more information.

We are also excited to welcome back WCMP Radio this year for a Live Broadcast of the Pine County Parade! Those that are unable to attend will be able to listen live on 106.5 FM or AM 1350!
