The Pine Area Lions are moving ahead with organizing a Holiday Raffle as part of their fundraising efforts for 2020. A limit of just 1,000 tickets will be available this year, but with an increase in the number of prizes awarded.
“Like so many other events over the past 6 months, we need to cancel the Turkey Bingo fundraiser due to indoor seating limitations,” said Cassandra Olson, Pine Area Lions President. “Instead of missing out on that opportunity to raise funds for our community, we are combining efforts to create a larger Holiday Raffle with more winners and prizes with higher awards.”
The raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each and can be purchased from any Pine Area Lions member. A total of six cash prizes will be awarded, with the Grand Prize winner receiving a $1,000 cash award. The raffle winners will be drawn on Saturday, December 5th in Robinson Park at 6:30 PM. Winners do not need to be present to win.
