It’s been a great week so far here in Pine City and more fun is set to arrive later tonight! The Whitesidewalls will be hitting the stage tonight for the Art in the Park series at 6:30 PM. The arrival of the rain today has organizers already making the call to move the event to the Pine County Fairgrounds, so you’ll find them on the Event Center stage tonight instead! Dinner will be served by the Pine City Lions – Brats, Beans, Chips and Water! Meal begins at 5:30pm.
Then come back on Saturday for an entire day of fun! Car show from 9am – 3pm, Kids activities and vendor booths open at 10am along with food vendors: Knights of Columbus, Pokegama Lake Association and Wrestling Booster Club. Live music is scheduled throughout the day and into the evening.
Due to construction materials across the highway in the regular parking areas, attendees may need to find alternative parking spots and walk to the Fairgrounds to enjoy the fireworks display.
A few event updates:
- the Kayak Paddle was canceled due to lack of registrations
- the Amazing Race team registrations are full and a wild bunch is slated to compete starting at 4PM
- the Human Foosball Tournament is still accepting team registrations. You can sign-up your team at 4PM in the Event Center… the tournament kicks off at 5PM.
