The community is invited to East Central Regional Library’s 60th anniversary celebration beginning with a musical performance by Becky Schlegel, followed by an open house reception on Monday Sept. 16, from 6:30-8 p.m., at the Pine City Public Library.
Set to perform at 6:30 p.m., Becky Schlegel’s music is original, drawing on the influence of classic country, bluegrass, folk, and her own thoughtful spirit. Her voice floats, whispers then soars above music of the highest quality. She takes her listeners on a musical journey, exploring new places and meeting new people in every song.
After the performance, stick around for an open house event. All ages are welcome for the entire evening, and no registration is necessary. Don’t forget to bring your 60th Anniversary Passbook, and get it stamped!
This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
The Pine City Public Library is located at 300 5th St. SE in the downtown area and can be reached at 320-629-6403. Keep informed of all our events by visiting the events calendar at ecrlib.org and following East Central Regional Library on Facebook.
