A local candidate forum will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 in the Pine City High School Auditorium. Below is the schedule for each group of candidates.
6:00 PM – Welcome
6:10 PM – 6:55 PM – School Board Candidates
7:05 PM – 7:50 PM – City of Pine City Mayor Candidates
8:00 PM – 8:45 PM – City of Pine City Council Candidates
The Pine City Pioneer published a series of questions and answers from the candidates as part of their Voter’s Guide information in September.
WCMP Radio will provide a livestream viewing of the forum.
We will provide an online submission form for viewers and in person guests to submit questions for the candidates. Due to the time limitations, we will have an independent panel of volunteers review questions that have been submitted by the public and forward questions on to the moderator for presenting. Similar questions from audience members may be combined and reworded for clarity before being asked. Each candidate will be given an equal response time of 2 minutes per question. Each new question will alternate to a new candidate in the rotation.
