With a steadily increasing diagnosis rate, currently at 1:59 nationally and 1:42 locally, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is the fastest-growing developmental disability in the state of Minnesota. Because of this high prevalence, it is likely you will encounter someone affected by ASD at your workplace or in your community. In this session you will learn common
characteristics and challenges associated with ASD and obtain strategies to address challenging behavior and facilitate communication, socialization, and self-regulation skills in order to best support individuals on the spectrum at the workplace.
This training is being offered at no cost to business; however, space is limited and we are asking for RSVP by Monday August 5th, 2019. RSVP to Doris Illies at [email protected] please make sure to reference August 13th training in the subject line.
