The Pine City Ambassador Program will host the annual scholarship fundraiser, “Meet the Candidates” Bingo, on Thursday, June 28th starting at 7:00 PM. The event will be held at the Pine City High School Commons. Attendees can play 14 games of Bingo for $15. For each round of bingo, one lucky winner will receive a gift basket with prizes donated by local businesses. Each prize basket is valued at $50 – $75.
A silent auction is also a fun part of the evening with each of the senior candidates creating their own themed basket to be part of the event. The funds raised by this annual event are used for the scholarships awarded as part of the Ambassador Program.
For those that can’t get away for an evening of Bingo, but still wish to support the program…. the candidates are selling $1 Raffle tickets with 2 great prizes that are “Need Not Be Present to Win”. The first prize is a Pine County Fair Package with ride wristbands, derby passes, and concessions certificates. The second prize is a Shop Pine City package filled with over $100 in local shopping and dining gift certificates.
Raffle tickets and Bingo tickets are available at the Chamber Office, located at 315 Main Street South, or will be available at the door.
