The Pine City Area Chamber of Commerce is working on growing the different types of networking opportunities for our members. Here is a quick snapshot of what we offer:
- Morning Perk — these events are typically hosted from 8:00 – 9:00 AM at a member location who serves as the host for the event. Hosts should plan to provide coffee or juice and light breakfast items (donuts, muffins, fruit parfaits are always well received!) This event has no formal program, just meet, visit and share some updates with other business owners/managers about what is happening in your business. Several of these events have been held outside in local parks, which would allow for members that don’t have a storefront business to host and set-up an informational table about their business. There is no cost to attend these events, we do ask that you consider an RSVP to help your host plan appropriately for food.
- Network 2 Learn Luncheon — these events are typically hosted from 11:30am – 1:00pm at various locations that work for formal presentations. Each N2L session includes a featured presenter with an important topic for the business community. Recently, our 2023 sessions have been focusing on local resources and highlighting the variety of strategic partnerships for the Chamber including the county, city, school district and college partners. As there is a lunch component for these events, advance registration is required and the $15 fee for lunch (2023 rate) should be paid at the time of your registration.
- Happy Hour — these events are most often held on a Thursday afternoon from 5:00 – 6:30 PM (times are always flexible for what works best for a host). Happy Hour events have been rotating through our member restaurant locations. In order to maximize attendance at these events it is our goal to have a location host as well as a featured business at the location.
