Chamber Event

Holiday Madness: Drive Thru Lights Display

The Emergency Executive Order 20-99 that goes into effect tonight allows for an exemption for Drive-Thru events to still be held. The Chamber has been planning for the Light-Up Drive activity in our community for the last several weeks, but at this time the participation from businesses and organizations is low. We are asking our community to step up and help us create a memorable night for the kids and families in Pine City.

For the Drive-Thru event we are looking for groups that would create a lighted display that would be a vehicle or on a trailer. Past floats have used lawn ornament displays or blow-up characters to show-off their design. Perhaps your business has a dumptruck, backhoe or bobcat that you can string with Christmas lights and pull into the display area for the evening?

For those without the use of a trailer, we have parking lot space for setting up a tent or other creative display. Battery-operated or solar lights make for a great light-up experience for those without access to a generator or vehicle.

Will you join us this year and make Holiday Madness 2020 a night to remember?
