It’s been a busy summer for the volunteer team at the New Horizon Thrift Store in Pine City. Earlier this year the store announced that they would be leaving their Main Street rental location to invest in a permanent and larger store location. The past two months have consisted of moving, sorting, construction, painting, pricing and shelving merchandise to prepare for the much anticipated re-opening date. They are thrilled to be welcoming back customers at their new location: 870 Main Street South, Pine City MN. Located in Pine Plaza along with Journey North Church & Berchin’s A&W Restaurant.
The New Horizon Thrift Store will be open on Saturday, September 11th from 9am – 1pm for donation drop offs at the front of the building using the corner glass door.
On Tuesday, September 14th beginning at 9am, the front entrance will be open and the volunteer staff will be excited to welcome back customers for the Grand Re-Opening event! As the store re-opens, for the safety of their volunteers, all shoppers will be asked to wear a mask when entering the building.
