Business Updates as of 5.18.20

As the Stay-at-Home order expires and businesses are beginning to re-open for customers, many of them will have operational changes in place. Whether it be limiting the number of customers inside their store or being open by appointment only, we will begin updating this article based on information provided by our local businesses. Please continue to support our local business community – now more than ever – your patronage is crucial to keeping them in business.

  • Voyageur Bottle Shop will return to regular summer hours beginning on Tuesday, May 26th. Sunday 11am-6pm and Monday – Saturday 10am-9pm. Be sure to follow their page on Facebook for updates!
  • Family Pathways Thrift Store Locations in Pine City, Forest Lake, North Branch and Princeton are opening Monday, May 18. In order to ensure we’re providing a safe shopping experience, we’re reopening locations in phases, and we’re implementing temporary store safety policies. Masks will be required, limited number of customers in the store at one time and 6 foot physical distancing guidelines are all in place. Donations are only available through scheduled appointments.   • The Tusen Tack Thrift Store (Braham) will be open to shoppers as of Monday, May 18, 2020. Donations will be accepted by appointment only. Please call 320-396-2633 or message the thrift store on facebook to arrange a drop-off date and time. The store will allow a max of 10 people at a time. Please practice social distancing while in the store. Customers are strongly encouraged to wear masks while shopping.
  • Oak Park Dental Office has returned to normal office hours this week. They are prioritizing patients based on need at this time. You can follow them on Facebook for future updates.
  • Dorothy Karas with Studio Nine Portraits will be opening for outdoor sessions this week. She is currently offering Gap & Gown Sessions for Seniors and Front Porch Sessions through the end of May. Follow Studio Nine Portraits on Facebook for more information on these opportunities!
  • The Pine County License Center is re-opening today. Guidance shared from their Facebook page includes the following: Only 4 customers allowed in the building at once. The line will be outside and 6 foot physical distancing between customers should be practiced. Please do not bring extra people along that do not need to sign for your transaction. Do the online pre-application for your driver’s license to avoid having to wait in line twice. The Pine City Office will continue to have the dropbox on the south side of the building for tab renewals.
