PCHS Class of 2021 Community Recognition

Last month the group, PC Parents 4 Grads, announced their plans for a local fundraising campaign to recognize the Class of 2021 with a few recognition projects similar to those efforts created for last year’s senior class in direct response to the pandemic.

The City of Pine City has agreed to hang the “Senior Banners” from street poles along Hillside Avenue and Main Street again this year. Each banner will include 2 senior photos and names and will cost about $60 each. There will be approximately 60 banners ordered.

The second project will be car magnets for each graduating senior to be used during the “Senior Class Parade” that will follow the 2021 Graduation Ceremony. A set of magnets for each graduate will be about $30. More details on this event will be released in May.

A third project will be one of several ideas that have been shared among the committee. This final project will be chosen in May based on the results of the community fundraising efforts. The PC Parents 4 Grads project will keep any unspent funds as seed money for the Class of 2022 Community Recognition plans.
