The Pine Area Lions are sponsoring the local contest for the Lions International Peace Poster event for youth in Pine City ages 12-13. For over 30 years this contest has been held in communities across the globe to promote peace and inspire others through art and creativity.
This year’s theme is “Peace through Service”. All students 12-13 years old are eligible to participate. Students are asked to design a poster which will be judged on originality, artistic merit, and the portrayal of the theme, “Peace through Service”. Participation in the contest is a creative way for students to express their vision of world peace.
The Pine Area Lions sponsors three cash prizes to be awarded to the winning artists. The poster receiving the first place award will advance to the next level of competition.
