Pine County is just one week into the second round of grant applications for the CARES Act (The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act) disbursement efforts. Round 2 will close on September 30th at 10:00 PM.
Businesses must have a physical presence in Pine County, and have fewer than 50 employees in order to be eligible for the grant.
The grant guidelines allow for businesses to be reimbursed for any pandemic related purchases such as cleaning/disinfecting supplies, computers to allow staff to work remotely, and facility modifications necessary for your business to re-open for business. Additionally, businesses can request reimbursement for up to 3 months of mortgage or rent and up to 3 months of utilities.
Questions on the grants should be directed to Don Hickman at the Initiative Foundation firstname.lastname@example.org (320) 631-2043 or David Minke, County Administrator CaresAct@co.pine.mn.us (320) 591-1620.
